Sartoria Antonio de Veneta has suffered three traumatic deaths in his lifetime thus far. In 1352 his wife, the daughter of his mentor Fenucci de Verona, died in childbirth, the child could not be saved. Then in 1358 Fenucci passed away, leaving all of his worldly possessions and his shop to his son-in-law. Finally in 1362 while exploring the demon infested tunnels of Stadtpfarrkiche st.Andra in Lienz Antonio himself was killed, drained of all life by one of the vampires he encountered.

The tapestry however continues unabated by these incidents.
