Anniballe was born in the year 1344 AD, and until her death leaping from the great tower of Schloss Bruck in 1361 she lived a pained life. She suffered a wasting disease which left her bones aching and her body exhausted after only a few hours out of bed. So she was prone to sitting up on her windowsill late into the night. Her father the Count was part of a complex ruling group of three counts, all brothers. Yet all were junior to the infamously unpopular Countess 'Margarische' of Tyrol.
