Stablozaba Rilln

Rilln is the second child of Stablozaba Cerrl, a respected druid, and Stablozaba Llina, a huntress. He was raised to follow in his fathers footsteps however, he took more after his mother, Llina. As a child he loved to follow creatures from the trees, staying out of sight. He especially loved the challenge of trying to keep up with the fast moving ones, and on these chases his older sister Stablozaba Zebaa would race after him, egging him on while trying to keep up. The pair would often return home to face grim chastisement from their mother, she would emphasize a warning against unecessary risk for mere fun and showing off. Though this never deterred them. Rilln enjoyed the hunt, though true to the tennets of his people he never killed for sport.

Sometimes a group of humans would wander into the forest and trap animals to take away with them. Here the pair of miscevious little frog folk would find the greatest sport of all. freeing the caged animals. These were the most dangerous of games, the pair had to use every trick they knew to avoid being caught. In one such encounter, an alert hunter spotted them and they were forced to separate. Rilln was determined and pressed the rescue, while his sister back off and lead the hunters on a merry chase. The hunters had found and trapped a fire pelt cub, from the skin nearby they had presumably killed the poor things mother. Rilln released the cub, but it was so weak and scared it refused to leave. Rilln tried for several minutes to coax the cub to head for freedom, but it remained, shivering and pitiful in the trappers cage. Rilln knew its fate, and when he heard the voices of the hunters returning to camp he threw himself into the cage and snatched the cub in his arms. This was a risky move, a scared animal is always likely to claw, or bite and the fire pelt is a fearsome cat. And it was pretty big too, although just a cub the fire pelt was a full half of Rilln's height. The frightened thing grawled a warning at the sudden charge but, against the odds and it's nature the cub relaxed as Rilln picked him up and even snuggled onto his shoulder so he could run.

Fearing that the tennets would mean the cub should be turned over to nature to fend for itself, Rilln hid the little cat for several days before he was found out. Rilln's father however surprised him and instead showed him how to care for the cub and raise him naturally. For the first time Rilln took serious interest in his father's skills. Lotharr (the cub) and Rilln developed a real connection and, as they bonded the, forest started to talk with them. The teachings of his father finally showed in Rilln, he even started to hear the forest.

During this time Zebaa came of age, although she was not sure of her place. She was fast and stealthy but, lacked the knack for hunting. She did not really understand animals and plants either. One night she snuck out of Rijeka-ramura, took one of the canoes, and left. She never returned.

Rilln and his family searched for her, there were no Shoanti at the lakeside so they ventured to the legendary city of the humans far away at Brinewall. The Chellaxian city they found to be long abandoned a ruin. They were forced to abandon the search here.

Months later a shoanti caravan camped at the lakeside and mentioned they had seen a Grippli heading South. They knew she'd be headed for trouble if she wound up at Riddleport so advised her to avoid that city and if she went anywhere they said that the small town of sandpoint would be more her speed. Rilln, nearly of age himself, and empowered by the magic of the forest vowed to find her. Lotharr ventured out at his side ...
